Nona-Mitha was born from a simple belief — that every family deserves access to truly pure, natural food straight from the source. Founded by Masud, we started by sharing the incredible honey and fresh seafood of the Sundarbans with friends and neighbours.
The name Nona-Mitha (নোনা-মিঠা) reflects the essence of Sundarbans — where the salty river meets the sweet forest. It is where our honey, fish and prawns come from, and it is the spirit behind everything we do.

Pure Sundarbans Honey
Deep in the Sundarbans mangrove forest, traditional honey collectors known as mohauls brave wild bees and tigers to harvest pure wild honey from natural hives. Using methods passed down for generations, they collect honey without disturbing the ecosystem.
Our honey is never heated, never filtered, never mixed. It comes to you raw and unprocessed — just as the bees made it, carrying the unique floral essence of the Sundarbans.
Fresh River Fish
Local fishermen set out before dawn on the rivers of the Sundarbans delta, casting their nets in the same waters their fathers fished before them. The catch is brought to shore within hours — still fresh, still alive in many cases.
We collect directly from the fishermen each morning, clean and pack the fish under hygienic conditions, and dispatch them the same day. No freezing. No preservatives. Just fresh.
Sundarbans Prawns & Seafood
The Sundarbans estuary — where fresh river water meets the Bay of Bengal — creates a unique ecosystem that produces some of the world’s finest prawns. Bagda, Golda and Tiger prawns thrive in these nutrient-rich waters.
Our prawns are hand-selected for size and freshness, cleaned and packed within hours of harvest. They arrive at your door with the genuine taste of the sea — something that no farmed prawn can replicate.
